Horses that were cut out of metal and than I was asked to Paint them to look real. I was a little limited because it was designed and cut out by someone other than myself unfortunately I do not know who. This is 4feet high and 8feet long.

Ink On SILK Paintings by Maria Volborth
This is the latest art I have been learning. It is painting on 100% silk . I use dye and it has to be steam set to bind with the silk to be durable and to bring the color out. I do my drawing and then lay the silk on it and transfer it to silk. I can make several of the same basic image but I can easily change background and coloring. Each one is original and one of a kind .It has been an exciting new medium for me. Come by my gallery and see some . These are all for sale. All framed and ready to hang.
